This past week, I received my first order of business cards for this website!
This was a big deal for me, not as exciting as when the
Daily News asked to add
this site to their blogs, but still exciting as it makes it seem more professional
to actually have a business card. I also bought some cool magnetic cards.
If you see me, be sure to ask for one!

It looks like one local gas station in Antelope is attempting to put Red Bluff on the map.
Here, you can get your gas plus a helping of Greyhound Mexican food.
I wondered about this after Lori, a reader, alerted me to it.
Is it Mexican food
for Greyhounds?
Or is it Mexican food with Greyhounds
in it?
Looks like the group People for the
Ethical Treatment of Animals
(PETA)
isn't doing their job in Red Bluff.
Greyhounds just might become extinct.
Lori mentioned that this might put the
taco wagons out of business.
That's a legitimate concern.
Everyone knows that nothing beats
the taste of greyhound...

I'll tell you what I hope.
I hope that this gas station doesn't get
the bright idea to copy the
advertising techniques of Mr. Pickles
Sandwich Shop.
Can you imagine a big Greyhound out
on Antelope Blvd.,
dancing around while trying to lure
people in?
Thanks but I couldn't eat another bite...
Something else...

I've been seeing teenage girls with glittery makeup over their eyes.
I decided that Linda Jo needed some sparkle but couldn't find any for sale.
I ended up buying some off from ebay.
This makeup is from Hong Kong and is absolutely fantastic.
However, reading the back of the package, I was a little confused.
Here's what it says:

"Eye Liner
The evil spirit reaches the color.

Also  may indifferent, the cruel feeling, but also may seductive,

mystical the characterand style full....The rich color effect lets the binocular
peripheral time maintenance charm.  The liquid informer effect is lasting, the
careful baby makes you draw when to change in grasping the enhancement
and a beautified eye line, the touch temperate soft,
does not need to worry the flesh receives the injury
."

The evil spirit???
The careful baby??
Huh???

I don't know why, but I read it again and again, trying to make sense of it.
Someone must have been reading a synonym book.
Reading synonym books are good, but don't try to use words from them
that you've never heard of...someone might get confused.
On the other hand, being purposefully vague with your words
can be a bit
interesting, and if you serve greyhound,
someone might mention you on their website.

So, contemplating my magnetic business cards, I think that we need
some bumper stickers, maybe some t-shirts, too....
anything else?
