Recently, I found out that 2 of my best friends and their
son, someone I grew up with and I dearly love, are
jeopardy of losing their home. Not from
foreclosure...these are responsible people who work
hard and pay their bills on time. No, they're losing their
home because a powerful agency has the authority to
step in, tell them what their home is worth and then
force them out. The Transmission Agency of Northern
California (TANC) is erecting high voltage power lines,
towers, and substations through Tehama County as
well as our neighboring counties. Their chosen route is
through my friends' property, thus it can be taken
through the power of eminent domain.

Here's the new view for Red Bluff...I can hardly wait!
I will have much more to say on this issue.
Until then, here's a little video to give you a preview of my thoughts.

Pass it around, get involved in your community.

I have an idea...we could change the town motto to:

Red Bluff...a great place to live and soak up the EMFs.

Red Bluff...a radiant place to live.

Red Bluff...a place where people literally glow.

Drive through scenic Red Bluff...it's like visiting the inside of your microwave.

Red Bluff...a place for active families...radioactive families

Red Bluff...clinging to guns, religion, and high voltage power lines.

You get the idea...

If you don't like the idea of being invaded by unsightly power lines,
or the potential health risks that are involved,
then write a letter!

Write to the address on the slideshow until June 30th, 2009.

Update on the article below:
TANC has been stopped,
but there is still no official word on
whether Western Area Power
Administration (WAPA)
plans to step in and continue plans
for power lines through the same
areas.  For now, homeowners are
breathing a sigh of relief while
keeping a close eye on WAPA.
