| This is a mattress that someone thought was an appropriate donation to the Salvation Army... When I saw it outside, leaning against the front of the building, My first thought was, "What the crap???" Then my sister pointed out that this mattress is a must-have for anyone who may be faced with those pesky, unwelcome house-guests. Ahhh! What a great idea! "You'll sleep here, Aunt May, and please, stay as long as you like!" I wonder about the people who left it there. Of all the places they could (and should) have dumped it, they chose a second-hand store, what were they thinking? "It still has some life left in it, someone will be glad to get this!" I shudder to think of the house that this came out of...but do send us pictures if it's yours! By the way... The Salvation Army has some unique things! It is a great place to find vintage and hippie-chic clothing, a good place to buy nice children's books, and the ladies who work there are awesome. You support the Salvation Army when you shop there! Our local landfill is deprived of your trash when you dump there. HOME PAGE |
