Title:
"I'm Doubly Negative About our Relationship,
but I Won't Not Tell You That It's Over."

I don't need no more negativity from you
'cause I didn't do nothin' to make you mad
Don't go buying me nothing, either.
I don't need no more presents from you.

There's not no love lost between us.
There wasn't no reason for you to leave
I won't not remember the pain you caused,
Lovin' you is just a big no no.
The Answer is NO!
So far, this has been a year of beauty and fine art.
It started when I achieved my New Year's Resolution for 2007,
which was to write the most negative love song in the world.

Right now, I am feeling extremely accomplished, having done
something no other songwriter has dared to try before...
I have written a song which heavily employs the artistic use of the
double negative.  I find, as a songwriter, that the confines of English
Grammar can sometimes restrict my talent.  Last year, as I
pondered this, I was struck with inspiration,
why not throw off these restraints?
Friends, here is my masterpiece, a life work of sorts.
I hope the magic inspires you.
I know, I know, this is a huge step in the music industry.
But don't worry, when I hit it big, I'll remember everyone who
signed my guestbook..these are the people
willing to be associated with me.
When the idea of creating a double negative song occurred to me,
my first thought was,
"People can't not like it."

Last week, exhilarated by my own musical creation, I was further
moved by the art exhibit someone had created and left on the side
of the road.  I immediately pulled over when I saw it.
Study the photo carefully.  It's deeply touching that someone put
their heart into such a thing of beauty and then
made the bold statement of placing it next to a busy highway.
I've never interpreted someone else's art, but here goes...

The artist is obviously making an appeal to the viewer regarding the vast
consumerism which threatens destroy the family unit.
This exhibit clearly points a finger at materialism, while giving an
alternative...time together and the simplicity of sitting the family down
together cannot be purchased.  Fortunately for us, it is free.

Wow!  This exhibit really moves me to tears.
These were the original plans, before someone got carried away...
My husband is creating an art
exhibit in our backyard.
It's a fort unlike any other.
It really puts the
fort in fortress.
When the kids drew the plans,
I assumed we were constructing a
small, simple play structure.
Not!
The thing is 9 feet high...
and that's the floor!
Looking up at the thing, I told my husband,
"I don't think the neighbors will appreciate our kids being able to
see into their backyard.  You didn't just build a fort, you built a
Watchtower on our lawn."
Now that we've built it, they will probably come...
It's okay.  People see Watchtowers and feel connected to them.
Having my own Watchtower, I am busy making copies of my own
free literature to distribute.
I may make a monthly publication, as well.
I don't see why anyone should have a market on that.
This could be a really big idea.
Maybe next...a
song about the tower.

I'm telling you, this is already a year of inspiration.
Art can take many forms...
