I am, of course, a Red Bluff resident. I like to listen to
other people talk. I don't like to draw attention to
myself but I do enjoy writing and when I have paper
and pen, I suddenly have much to say,
often writing lengthy pieces.
A common question is, "Where did you get the idea
for this website?" It all started with a treadmill that
someone dumped by the side of the road.
When I passed it, I would wonder, why doesn't
someone clean that up? And then I wondered what
people would think if they occasionally saw someone
on it, actually exercising. When I asked some friends
if they wanted to join a health club for the working
class, they were amused. So yes, this site is all about
satire...and as I have learned, not everyone "gets it."
If the concept eludes you, that's okay!
If you like it, check back every Friday for more!
Thanks to all those who have contacted me
asking me to continue this site and for those
who have signed the guestbook.
Here are some other writings:
Many readers liked the soldier article with pictures,
"What does it feel like to be a Christian?"
so I've added another. The analogies
on the topic are endless.
I could go on and on...
"He is no fool who gives
what he cannot keep
to gain that which he cannot lose."
II Samuel 24:24
"I will not offer to the Lord my God that
which costs me nothing."
